Your chat

Privacy details

The digital concierge saves conversations so you can return to them later and sends your messages to our response provider to prepare replies.

What is saved

Your chat appears in this browser's local storage and in Repair-It Eric's website storage. This includes messages you send and replies, along with information needed to restore the conversation and continue the service flow. Anyone with access to this browser profile or your Repair-It Eric account may be able to see saved chat history.

How messages are used

Messages are processed by our response provider so the digital concierge can answer questions and help organize service requests. The provider may handle information under its own service policies; this page describes the separate chat history saved by this website.

Photos shared with Concierge

When you send a photo through Concierge, it is stored with your private service request. A resized copy is also sent to OpenAI so Concierge can answer questions about what is visible. Your message, customer-visible request context and the reply may be retained with your conversation. Do not include passwords, payment information or unrelated private details in photos. Photo replies are visual guidance, not a confirmed diagnosis, price, booking or safety inspection.

How long site chat records remain

Website chat history shown in the Concierge is limited to the last 30 days. Older server records are hidden from chat history but may remain in website storage until authorized cleanup; they are not automatically erased yet. Contact us about a specific conversation. Clearing browser storage removes the local copy, not the separate server copy.

Your MyHouse layout

You can explore MyHouse without signing in. Room changes may be kept in this browser. When account saving is available and you choose to save, your layout is stored with your signed-in account. This uses your account identity, not your email address, to keep houses separate. It does not verify your email address or connect your house to someone else's customer records.

Saved layouts include room arrangements, furniture choices, finishes, and character settings. They are private from other members unless you create a view-only link. Authorized Repair-It Eric and hosting administrators can access stored records; account privacy does not mean the records are encrypted so that only you can read them.

Sharing a house

A view-only link lets anyone with the link tour the snapshot you shared. They cannot edit your saved house. Later changes to your private house do not change that snapshot until you choose to update it. Share links do not include your account email, chats, or Project List.

Revoking a link stops future access through that link. It cannot remove screenshots, downloads, or other copies someone already received.

Keeping and deleting a house

Clean cloud-loaded house copies are not retained in this browser’s account recovery cache. Unsaved account changes can be recovered in the same tab; save or download them before closing it. Sign out asks you to confirm clearing private browser recovery copies, pending Project List changes and local chat history. Saved MyHouse layouts currently have no automatic expiration. Delete saved house clears the active account layout and shared snapshot; a minimal record of the deletion may remain to prevent an older device from restoring it. This does not remove browser copies, downloaded files, previously received shared copies, or backups held by hosting providers. Clearing this browser's storage removes its local copy. For questions about deletion or stored information, contact Repair-It Eric.

Keep sensitive details out of chat

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information in chat. For privacy questions or to ask about a saved conversation, contact Repair-It Eric.
